Here is another pix of a cherry blossom queen. I noticed that no one responded to the first picture of the the cherry blossom queens, maybe someone will respond to this pix. I'm just trying to see if I'm getting a little better with my photography since the last pix that I've posted. We'll see.

There is too much distraction in the picture that draws your eyes away from the main subject. You need to zoom in closer or crop the shot to show the main subject better.

Here is a quick crop that I did. Hope you don't mind.

To improve on this picture; I would look into playing with a much shallower depth of field.

As Cal and Djazz have said, there is too much detail of high contrast in the picture. These type of shots are difficult because the shooter has zero control over conditions, and a very short time to grab the shot. We don't get any time to compose, or verify lighting.

My attempt at toning down the b/g and the reflection from the car. I used soft spot filter in Photoimpact, with gray color.

Nice fix vtphotog. There's a good contrast to that picture, while highlighting the cb queen.
