hey guys..

well, i had an opportunity to shoot daffodils the other day..

and was going for "different"...and i have to say...it's not easy..

lol

Great shots Vito!

I love the lighting and detail of the foreground flower in the first shot. Awesome!

The strong presense of the background flower certainly adds an interesting affect. Keeps my eyes wandering around the entire photo. Very creative. At the same time, the focused flower is so nice, I may enjoy the photo more with a less competing background. Great work.

OMG..that white border!!!!! Arrrrgh...my eyes.....my eyes...!!!

Actually, I loved your smaller border that you use on your site images.

Vito,

Your border works much better here because there is enough contrast within the image to keep the viewer's attention. Never, never another comment about contrast again. I promise!

Contrast mask attached for demonstration purposes. I've placed a small border around the image for background separation on the forum.

Oh, way cool shots Vito. Can't decide on the border thingy, but do see a great use of imagination here. Love to see a camera used with that flair. Best regards,

nice shots Vito, I agree about the white borders though, perhaps a wood grainy type would be better:-)
