A Goat thingy.
  • Added sky, does it look OK ? [/*]
  • The horizon is not level, because, it wasn't level. Would it look better to perhapsClone the horizon level to keep the railing level ? (Sorry, too many levels) [/*]
  • And do the sheep distract ?
[/*]
Any thoughts please.

This is the original with nothing done at all apart from resizing for here.

A thingy can be anything you want it to be. Especially when you can't remember or don'tknow the name of something. A 'whatchamacallit'.

It must be a British thing(y).

It wasn't called 'A Goat', it had an unusual name I can't recall. (Note to self: Bring pencil and paper next time !)

I like it but the crop near his horns seems too close

I agree, but at the time of cropping I just wanted to get as close to his face as possible.

Thanks for commenting.

I don't know about the other folks here, but the goat pretty much commands our attention here. someone might quibble about the sheep blending in with the goat's ear, but it is part of the landscape. Lots of character here. I have to say the sky could still use some work; it tends towards purple, which doesn't gel with the saturated grass.

All in all, though, a shot I like.

Pretty nice, and sheep and goats go together well. Makes it look more natural. More natural say than a couple of giraffes or a couple lions in the background. No, the sheep give the picture a stamp of authenticity sort of... goat guys expression of tranquility matches the nonchalant grazing of the sheep, so they work well together. The sky looks cool too. Thanks, best regards
