This one most definately works for me. The composition is excellent and I like the way the whites show detail. Very nice.

Many types of flowers seem a bit "dull" to my eyes (and I mean real flowers, not just captured inphotographs). So, I prefer something that makes them look a little brighter -- even if it's not as natural and means blowing the highlights in some areas.

I guess I'm the contrarian here, since I see Suzane likes the detail inthe white areas, whereas I'd be willing to sacrificesome detail for brighter highlights.

My guess is that most viewers would side with Suzan on this one. :-)

It's areally nice capture.

I'm with you JimC. It seems dull to me also. I like flowers to be bright and vivid, but maybe that's just individual taste. RB, you said you like the picture to pop out, but this doesn't seem to do it. WC

haha, i'm gonna have to disagree jim
i'm with suzan...if you're going for a detailed macro shot..you might as well have detail in the whites...

nice shot rodney..this might be my favorite of yours.

I lost some detail when I sized it down for the web...I sure wish I could figure that out. Increasing the size has always been more important so I do that a bit better.

Thanks for the comments.
