Hello Vito,

Because of a recent thread that became an "I know more than you" type of exchange, I'll not critique your work here. Maybe this edit will give you some ideas about what this image is lacking. There are probably a dozen crop options for this shot so I picked something a little tighter.

Sorry Rodney but I find your version oversharpened.

Vito I really like this one with the bee and the leading edge of the Grape Hyacinth in focus and all else super soft.

Maybe if you added just a touch more color saturation to the bee and some (very) subtle dodging and burning to the wee critter, it would stand out more. I can't imagine doing anything else to this shot that wouldn't take away from it. It's a greatphoto and needs no more than a light hand at processing it.

I agree that it is a real good shot, but you need to bring the bee out a bit more.

I think it's a great shot an have taken the liberty to edit it as I would, The bee is the only thing in need of change, I sharpened just a tiny bit, more saturation and a little dodge work.
