I thought I'd start out with something simple. :-)

Very nice.
The "pose" is unique.
It does look a little hot in spots, but not too bad.
I am not sure if it's part of your signature or not, but there is an odd blur bottom center, moving right...
With this particular pose, I'd also remove the "white stain" on the deck to the left of the bird. :-)

Thanks for the comments. The highlights aren't blown, but look detailless even when I bring down the exposure. I'm not sure I could have done anything different to avoid a hotter spot as I have here considering the time of day. I could have used my flash as the key light instead of fill which would have fixed the problem, but would have looked less natural too, I think.

The blur at the bottom is because of the DOF. I was at about a 45 degree angle to the subject so my OOF area is at the same angle.

Shooting in some good light would help this greatly..

Here is a quick edit I did with s/h tool to even up the exposure, and some cloning of the poop and the weird blur (and it does look weird :?: ). While yea all of the white pixels aren't 255, there is no detail to be found within the feathers making it appear once blown out and then darkened. What is the original like exposure-wise if I may ask?
