I like this shot a lot. It would be even better if it were a bit brighter, the bird blends into the background a bit too much, in my opinion.

Lightening up the image a little would give it a little extra punch. But since none of our monitors are calibrated to match, your photo might look just perfect to you. Outside of that, very good pan technique. TDT

I loaded it into PS, and from looking at the histogram this image is underexposed, a lot. How did that happen? Is it a scan, or from a digital SLR?

I really like the shot I have down loaded it and applied levels and un sharpen mask from PSto it see what you think.

Its from a Digital SLR, a Pentax *ist DS. I am very new to photography and could not tell you what my settings were.
