Taken with 350D 1.3 seconds F36 ISO 100 Zooming from 18-55

any idea's?

It's makes my head spin when I look a it.

There is a filter in Photoshop that does the same thing, though I've never seen it done for real like yours.

Nice effect.

It's a great zoom... but there's no subject there for the zoom to enhance... rocks sitting on the groundaren't exactly the kind of things that I think of "zooming" toward me. It's a great technique, and much better looking than the PS filter, in my opinion.

i'm with perdendosi on this one...
the effect is very nice, but it needs a subject that would be enhanced by the implied movement the blur gives..

Sorry guys should havesaid at the outset that i just had it in my head to try this sort of effect. it was just after teatime so i just opened up the back door and shot the first thing that i saw in the garden.

you are right it does need something to zoom to/from. I am glad you like it over the plugin, fairly new to PS so didn't know there was one (should have guessed really, it will almost boil the kettle for you)

Thanks will try this on a bike soon (moving and still)
