Hey all,

After a gaussian blur, I like the look of this photo but I'm not quite sure about the whiskers as they seem to stick out too much. I've tried to blur them slightly and even blur them with the rest of the background and I just don't like it. Any suggestions?

i would suggest keeping the whiskers as sharp as possible since they are part of your subject..

That's what I was going to say.

The sroundings should be cropped out to make the subject more outstanding.

Definitely keep the whiskers, Oreo wouldn't know how tight a gap he/she could get through if you 'cut' them off.

Gwei is on the right track, but I would try to keep a little more of the cat in the frame like this.
