I really like the people silhouette in the bottom right. I think the sun is too centered though and if the sun was lower, you could crop in on it better. You could crop in on the sun setting with the people silhouette, I think there is just too much empty space on the top and left.

Maybe something like this, maybe not...

thanks for the thought.

I (knowing nothing about anything) prefer mine, to meuncropped itlooks like the sun is saying "WOW" and holding out his hands, touching everything. i think thats lost by moving it from the centre. The sun is reaching out and pulling you into the picture

but everyones thoughts are induvidual :-)

if your camera has manual mode.
set it to the highest apperture and the highest speed..
example.. f8 @1/2000 and gradually step down in speed till you find a pleasing balance between foreground and background.

here's an example

i do have manual mode on my camera, but that pic was on auto, i know auto's probably frowned apon but sometimes you dont have the time to fiddle.

Im trying to learn some techniques, and have managed to do some blurry back grounds, which im pleased worked, changingthe aperture to about f3.2, and using the zoom to reduce the DOF. (If i said that wrong, im only very much a beginner and just having some fun)

Thanks for the comments.
