Thought i would post this, its the first photograph with my new camera. The photo was taken with macro mode on and without a tripod.

Photo has been cropped & resized in macromedia fireworks and it has had a little extra jpeg compression put on it for the dailup users. What do u think?

Right everyone... the original is back online. So then, 70+ visits and no comments :?::?:

Consider this thread bumped.

Picture is too small.

Also putting your logo on the actual picture really takes away from the overall presentation.

Possibly a frame around it would be better to put in your logo.

Looks a bit drab from what I see and my preference is to focus on a single flower rather than a group since some will look more in focus than others.

Multiple flowers are distracting and not really centering on what is the main interest in what I am looking at. Thus a snapshot look rather than a photograph.

Don't be discouraged at the lack of comments. It is difficult at times to post a pic that will get fingers tapping the keyboards, but keep posting, you'll get responses eventually. I like the pic overall, but the subject matter has been worn out lately here. For a while there were flower shots and seemed like nothing but...anyway, as I said, I find the pic pleasing and pleasant, but not remarkably so. I'm glad to see it because I'm curious about the Sony 828. And I have been hoping to see more examples of this camera's potential. I'm hoping too that Sony will put out another one soon. To my eye all the elements of your picture are what they should be, the background doesn't compete with the subject, nice balance, and focus, perhaps if it wasn't there naturally, you might up the contrast a tad, in software. Best regards,
