I have been trying to post photos for about an hour now! They keep coming back with a note that says "Invalid Extension". All the pictures I have sent so far have been cropped, filtered or adjusted somehow in Microsoft Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop. Now for some reason it won't work :?

Don't you love me anymore??

o.k...................the ones that I sent befor say "JPEG image".

the ones I have been trying to send say " TIF file".

What I do is crop the photo in Microsoft Picture it and then do image re-sizing and filter change in Adobe Photoshop. This is how I've always done it. It's the easiest way to change the image size down to 244 or less.

I have no clue about "TIF file" or how to get rid of that and go back to JPEG.

:?

When you do your final save-as for the web in PS you should select type as jpg :-).

Adobe PS won't allow you to save as jpg unless the images are reduced to 8-bit, and have been flattened(no layers).

For original and work in progress images I'd prefer .psd format to .tif format, Tif's tend to be huge.

Use the crop tool in photoshop. Its _much_ better

For older version of photoshop you may have to "Save as Copy" to get to save as a jpeg

Thanks guys! That's great! I think you hit the nail on the head when you said to be careful with my final "save as". I think thats exactly where I've messed up! couldn't figure that one out at all. I don't know where this TIF came from so I'll play around some more and see if I can find it. Oh, and I have not yet progressed to doing layers yet! That is on my list, but I'm old and it takes a while to learn new tricks.

I DO save everything as a copy for just such cases.

Thanks everyone for your help!
