This shot was taken with a Fuji S7000, a much under-rated camera. I have since upgraded to a Canon Eos 350d (Rebel XT) but macro performance leaves much to be desired!?

Looks pretty good. A tad overexposed on the wing and the central part of the flower. Otherwise, I like it.

Also, try using jpeg images, not gif, you'll get more color detail.

What macro problems are you having with the 350D? I love the macro performance on mine, but, macro performance is pretty dependent on the lens you've got on it, though.

Guy

Thanks for the comment, I have the basic kit lens and its fine , but only when stopped down at least 2 stops, I may just be griping, as I am now having to think! The Fuji was great for point and click but frustrating for action shots due to the shutter delay.

The Canon is great for action, as I can judge time delay much better.

:-)
