I like the sepia tone on the weathered wood. Kinda adds to the feeling of age and use. Somebody's got some work to do!!! lol

Good DoF on that shot, it brings the foreground into better focus. However I find the slightly hard to see bird is distracting and I wasn't sure at first glance if the boat or seagull was supposed to be the target of my attention.

Also, if you hadn't said it was a boat, I doubt I would have identified it as such (at least immediately), and think that perhaps including the waterline (unless the boat is drydocked) would help.

If there was water you could've Photochopped a mirror image onto it with an alpha layer of the original waves for the pretty reflective water everyone likes.

Finally, I dislike monochromatic toning of images, but I know a lot of people will disagree with me.

thanks, I agree with all thats been said aside from the sepia coloring of the image, I love the effect:-)
