I agree. This is an excellent composition and exposure.

I think it's great as is, nice comp, and exposure. If you wanted to crop, I wouldn't take any off the top, but off the bottom and right, but cropping is a personal choice. It is your picture, if you like it, who cares what I think. Having said that, here is my choice for a crop. I have deleted from my HD.

very nice. but too white. maybe it is the border you have around it. would like just the lily's white to be more prominent.

GoCubs- thank you for your edit.. i will definately play around with that before printing.. however, i feel that cropping off the bottom takes some of the texture and the feeling out of the water.. but like you mentioned, its personal preference.. thanks for commenting and taking the time to give me a fresh crop idea

LordUltra- thanks for commenting again. i will keep in mind the too much white when i try to matte and frame this one.. i think i may have misguided you by calling this a white lilly.. its actually a pale yellow as you see here.. but i was being lazy when i named the file.. thanks again for the comments..

Not a pro view, but with crop, sometimes you have to try it out and see the results. Likes can be varied. It seems to me that if you crop the background, you will be taking something vital out of the picture.

It is a great composition

I think the original is awesome....I wouldn't crop at all but as has been stated that's a personal thing huh?? Just thought I'd share my thoughts....I'd leave it like it is...Great shot!
