The "Hearts of Fire" shot is interesting. Was that a composite? It's hard to believe the couple stayed still enough for a 2.5 second shot to be that sharp.

I really enjoyed your "When I am not photographing weddings......." gallery. I haven't looked at the others.

Thanks Dave,

I just wish I had more time to take photos for the "when I'm not photoing weddings". However I do photo about 50+ weddings a year and I spend most of my free time riding my harley or BBQing. Funny..... Brides tend to get a little upset when you bring a roaring harley toa wedding... I wonder why??? HHHHHMMMMM

Keep Shooting

Mike

The final image is the composit of two images. The main is everything except the brides and groom's heads. I brought over the head from a second photo that I took with out the sparklers andbut witha rear curtain flash and 2.5 second exposure. I then color balance the faces to match the main photo. I then used a soft edge eraser toolto blend in the overlayed faces.

I love doing things like this!! I think ittakes photography to a new, better and more interesting level!

Thanks,

Mike:idea:
