canon 20d and sigma 80-400 OS at 400mm.. 1/1600 at 7.1, EV -2/3, shot RAW converted in ACR, intellisharpen

thanks for the comments.. this is one of my personal favs too.. clean, simple, elegant..

if you like these kinds ofshots julie, i have a few more from that shoot i will be sharing when i get around to processing them..

I like the way the background is blacked out. Really makes the flower stand out.

I think this is one of the better ones you have on this page at the moment. Excellent shot. I looked at it and thought wow. You obviously have a skill for Macro, but looking at the other shots on this page I was looking for something extra, the one that stands out from the resy. This is the one. Congratulations. I'm loooking forward to the next one.

i appreciate the comments everyone.. for me this is one of those shots that makes all of the trips to the gardens and the hours spent in the 95 degree heat worth all the effort.. it just goes to show that if a place has merit,don't give up on it tooearly,as you really never know when "that shot" is going to present itself..
