i love the toning and general overall feel to this shot.. very commendable..

a few things though to improve... the goblet is soft towards the top.. also the goblet tends to blend in with the dark band of tile behind it.. and the grapes tend to blend into the table.. a little adjustments to the contrast could help out a lot.. as would a little fill light from the righthand side.. i would crop a little off the bottom too..

great shot, i agree with dustins comments as well. i think the angle at which you took the shot is a bit too plain, i might change that around a bit but it's a great shot like this anyway, i'm just sayin if you wanted to mix it up a little bit that'd be cool too.

I think the cropping is a little off.

The shot needs more "head room", ie more at the top, and less at the bottom.


Also, open the aperture and soften the background.

be careful with opening the aperature in that you get sufficient DOF to include everything in focus..
