i like it, the angel could be a little more in focus and sharper, but you coulda been going for the blurred look idk, I can tell where you made a circular selection and blurred the rest of the image, i think, hard to do that without it being noticable though.

Yeah, sorry, I should have mentioned that those things were on purpose. I do alot of "goth" type stuff, and album cover work.

well in that case i think you did well, it's a nice shot for that purpose. sometimes people critique things that the photographer intended to include or have with the photo, so it's kind of important for you to get across what you were trying to do with each particular photo. Great shot though!

for a goth look.. i think you could have got closer to your subject, mb shot up at an angle facing the sky.. waited for a nice moody evening sky with some clouds.. then converted to mono with a high contrast grainy look.. right now, its just not working for a goth look for me, its just a bit too bright, and a bit too obvious that its shot at a local park..

never hesitate to post a picture no matter how unsure you are.. the advice and critiques you will get can only improve your shots.. looking forward to seeing more..
