This was an interesting day. The southern most point of the greek island of Rhodes where the Mediterranian and the Aegean seas meet. One is calm and the other has a strong current - how strange!? Anyway this guy was just cruising along...

OK so I had a little play with this image in PSE and have enhanced the sky - I think it looks better what do you think?

EDIT: Modified image re-posted below...

In this sort of shot most would agree the horizon should be level, if not then you should clearly be aiming for some sort of special effect or an intentional departure from the norm. That does not seem to be the case here.

Just use PS to rotate the picture a few degrees.

from now on could you post these in a smaller size.. having to scrolll around does not let me fully evaluate the picture.. but from what i can see a little more detail in the wakeboarder and a level horizon will help out alot... also i think you have too much deadspace on top and bottom.. a horizontal pano format could add some dynamicism to the photo..

Hi Daffy,

I got a picture of some monastary thing on the west coast of the island. Dont recall the name - sorry!

I do love the island of Rhodes and me and my family regularly holiday to Lindos - what a beautiful place.....

OK so have just played with this image a little after Hards comments... I thought that reducing the image size too much would reduce the overall quality - still not sure but I do agree when the images are too large it is a pain in the bottom.

Looks good to me.

I agree with you on the image size reduction. You have to keep in mind though that some folks still run at 1280x1024 or below. I prefer 1600x1200. I think the board could use some modification as well. The amount of space used up by the users name and avatar could be slimmed down to give more room for actual images.
