I think the area at the bottom isimportant to the feel of this shot. Plus its if it was removed it would cut the extent of the reflections........

i like the fading reflections in the bottom... to me those are big elements..

thank you all very much for the comments =) truthfully speaking, the picture came out to be alot better than i thought, and of course i am glad it did. i am not very good at photoshop so i can't do much to edit this. i am such a noob

the best way to learn photoshop is by doing.. just go in and give it a try, you'll figure it out eventually

y'know what, i apologize, i'm on a different monitor- a sucky one....i thought there was more to the image than there is....not leaving any room for cropping- sorry.

back to the tripod. you said dynatran is pretty good, can you tell me what model of dynatran?? on ebay they have ones ranging from 30-100 0_o show me the way.

the 858B is the sturdiest of them all and would be the only one really worth considering.. get it tripod legs only and then put a nice Monfrotto head on it.. i would suggest the 486 or 488 series of ball heads.. this combination would give you similar results to the monfrotto 3021 kit withone of those heads for about 110-120 USD cheaper..
