As action photography is my favourite, i thought i would practice on my four legged subject. Canon 20D 75-300 1:4.-5.6 ll was used.

you have done a good job in panning and gettin a sharp shot as focus appears to be at least close to the eyes.. in shots of animals and particularly pets, i find that getting down at or below their eye level will improve their "presence" in a shot.. try shooting prone on the ground and shooting slightly up, i think you will find the image to be more dynamic and more visually appealing..
