I forgot I even planted this dahlia variety, butI was glad to see it open over the last few days.

Canon DIGITAL REBEL XT
Aperture: f/8.0
ISO: 100
Exposure time: 1/160
Focal length: 70

the backgrounds a bit distracting here G35.. use a more open aperture next time and get a little blur going.. also shooting from a slight angle will give the shot a more 3-dimensional feel to it.. beautiful flower though!
