very cute puppy!i find the image a little fuzzy.also,it has some exposures problems(under and over in parts)for example, the dog's right ear and left eye are underexposed.the eye,in particular, is black to the point where it almost looks like it's missing, unless you look really carefully. Finally, the chair is slightly overexposed in places.however,i know that animals can be hard to capture on film so it's really not a bad effort at all!

i really like this, especially since i used to have a border collie- such wonderful dogs. the only thing i don't like is the leash, i find it distracting to this otherwise nice shot. if it didn't seem so taut it might be ok but it is a distracting line, imo.

I can see what your saying about the exposure.

The exposure looks a little better on the original, but still isn't spot on. I had to scale the image from 1.6 mb to 80K so I could load it up on the forum.

I took the shot with a $130 pentax optio 30, which probably couldn't handle the exposure latitude.

Still, not too shabbyquality from such aninexpensivedigicam.

Thanks for the comments!

I agree the taught leash looks a little cruel.

In actual fact, she stretched the leash to the maximum in order to hop on the chair!

We try to keep the chairs away as she has a habit of chewing the cloth!

I wish I had loosened up the leash prior the shot.

Those little details that you don't see thru the miniscule viewfineder that show up real clear in the shot!

Thanks for your comments!

very cute pup! i think you did the best you can with the exposure.. black on white is tough, and maybe it couldn't handle the latitude, but for me its very minor as overall the exposure's pretty good..

i agree.. the fact that the leash is taught is a bit distracting, it gives the shot a sort of forced look.. minor again imo...

nice shot..
