they just don't stand out enough... meaning there is not enough contrast between the glasses and the background.. i am not sure what you could do differently to make it stand out... but do experiment and let us see what you come up with..

the line where the light ends at the top right of the frame is a bit distracting for me..

I quite like it. I think the interesting aspect is the light, and the slow contrast. It creates a forboding feel, especially when you see the inverted cross of the glasses, which I wouldn't ahve thought to be the central element, more what the lighting is framed around.

Good job.
KUTGW.

Dustin: Have you tried putting it on with a white background, because the black merges in with the forum colour it could be detracting from the shot.

i like the setupwith the standingglass and crossed overglass.. i think that is a goodsetup and i think this shot has potential.. i am just left wanting more detail in the brass(?) of the goblets... and just missing that punch that really brings them out.. i think maybe a white border could help as you say it blends into the forumn colors, but still its quite an abrupt change..

I am in the middle on it as well. The problem is that more light is needed for the "studio", and I plan yo get them thursday. Then will see what I can get.
