i prefer the color version. the lighting is so nice and warm, i find that it enhances the different colors and textures in this shot.

I think the colours here are a bit oversaturated.There isn't the contrast between the red and the rgeen to justify such a high saturation.

However, the colour does look better than the b+w, there isn't enough texture for the b+w to work. Sepia toning it might work though.

My suggestion would be possibly a different angle. The trash just seems to overpower the structure. Maybe that is your intention. If it is your intention, then what is the message you are trying to convey?
