Hi all,

Been to see my folks for a few days so I will be posting a few shots from my time in the south of England.

This was taken through glass so it is a little off colour.

What do you guys think?

Dom

next time get right up to the glass.. that will cut the reflections that have thrown your colors off and washed them out.. try to "seal" the lens to the glass using your hand or whatever and try to use the cleanest glass possible.. that will really help out your color saturation and your sharpness..

Thanks Dustin. Unfortunately this was from my fathers house and the glass was pretty dirty. It was a total chance shot - the bird flew up and landed so I grabbed the camera, moved towards the window shooting and this was the best one I got before he spotted me and flew away...!

Thanks for the comments

I like the photo even through the glass, it has a kind of connection with the bird. Try something in Photoshop to improve the colors and sharpness and try to have a certain crop a little bit....looking forward to see the improvement

Regards Zak

OK so it took a while but I have finally done more work on this shot. What do you think now?

I know that the original shot needed some work on the colours (through the glass) but is there anything good about the shot?

Thanks,

Dom

Oh, that second retouched photo is nice. The colors are much richer. Good job.
