I like this one much better. There was something about the fungus on the wood in the first shot that I did not like. It may have been the color. The composition was ok but much of the area at the top was uninteresting. This is a big improvement IMO. The extra detail in the wood texture is a real plus. T

I'm not real sure about the nail head. At first glance I thought the position of head was better in this shot but after studying it for a while its really kind of buried in the shadow and the more I look it seems to throw off the effect of the leafs shadow. I don't know. Still a nice shot.

i actually missed the nail head on this shot.. i guess thats a good reason to post for critique, others will catch those things that you miss..

Very nice shot. The contrast between the vibrant, lively green and the fading wood is great.:-)

Nice shot, but I prefer the other one. Someone said they prefer the colour relationship with the moss on the wood on this one, I actually like it better on the first version. But these are only opinions, nothing technical.
