Very nice. I like the way the fountains lead you to the building. I find the lights in the fountians a little bright and wonder if you could selectively darken them a tad. I think it also needs a slight counter clockwise rotation. Still better than I could do. Grat shot.

I like the color and composition. The only thing I see that might improve it would be to get the roofline straight. It seems a bit high on the left.

I think this shot really takes advantage of the late-evening light. The colours are really nicely blended. I don't mind the bright lights in the fountain... ten minutes later and they would really blow out. I agree with GoCubs, though; the shot is roughly .8 degrees out of kilter. Just enough that it is noticeable.

Cheers,

for some reason i am not good at noticing that on the first pass... its readily apparent now that i look at it with fresh eyes.. but for some reason i had convinced myself it was an illusion when i processed it or it was just the building.. (don't ask me how or why)..

but yea.. this was the optimal timing.. i still had to underexpose by a stop to keep the fountains from blowing.. but any later and it would have been impossible.. earlier shots were rather uninteresting..

i was very happy with the way the sky colors were reflected in the water... i was hoping for a few clouds but they all disappeared with the coming of the evening.. oh well, its only 5 mins from my condo, i will return!

thanks for the comments everyone.. i will rotate it for printing.. (too lazy to repost, sorry)

Superb! Excellent exposure. I do have to wonder though what it would look like at twilight. I love the colors of the cobalt sky at twilight.

This is an excellent addition to your photoblog! :-)

Awesome lighting and color. If I lean my head a little bit it looks pretty straight!:-) Seriously, it's a beautiful shot.
