I don't recall what type if plant this is but I found this shot very pleasing to the eye. I could not get a wider shot due to unattractive surroundings.

widow, this one is dying for a mono conversion to emphasize the form as color really isn't a big part of this scene (hint hint) :-)

"but in all seriousness, i really think a good conversion could really look nice...

Very nice. This image enables me to imagine a whole field of similar plants blowing in the wind.

This is the best I can do at a bw conversion. Feel free to give it a shot. I have never been happy with my conversions.
