there is only one shot here, the first one.

Throw the other away.

levels levels levels..... to be played with . shadows and highlight.. but only slightly.

Yup. You guy's are right on. The more I looked at the second shot, all the confusion totally distrascts the eye from the real shot; the dwindeling sunset. The weeds are so crisp and clear, though... ha ha

without a doubt first one...

and it needs some post-processing as well.. besides LB's mention of levels/shadow-highlights.. you need some saturation here.. you can do it the cheap way and just boost saturation or if you are good, you can do it in curves..
