Shot of the Eiffel tower I took on a recent vacation. Any comments for composition or technique appreciated.

the composition works fine for me...

the problem i have with this one is that its a shade overexposedis in dire need of some levels adjustment.. so play with your levels because right now all you have is midtones and highlights..

I like it... but I agree it is a bit "dull" in terms of tones...

The Eiffel tower works well with the "Trocadero"or the "Champs de Mars" as background as well... do you have any shots?

My own attempt as a towering view... Nagy Templom in Debrecen!

Thanks for the comments guys. Unfortunately I don't have shots of the two other mentioned sites. We only had a day to stroll Paris so we only hit the biggest attractions. I do have a cool dusk shot of the 'Arc' though!

I did an effect on this pic with a plugin I have that is supposed to give it an "old newspaper" look which I thought worked well for the colors but I think gave it a flat appearance. Now I also see that it does lack contrast. I think I'll do some level adjustments as noted.
