Got this on the way home tonight, the sun was almost setting in the wrong spot ofcourse. Will try on the weekend when I am off, but your over all thoughts?

really nice color and light...nice soft, autumny feel overall..... the composition in the first one- theĀ* truck andĀ* barn are in competition with each other, and the truck is too centered. the second one seems a little busy with no focus. if you can get back there to shoot more i think it will be worth it, i think you are on the right track.

Thanx Julies, Yea I noticed that too. The guy was closing the gate for the day and he let me run in real quick, left my Tripod in the car , than also relized I forgot to switch ASA to a higher speed. Will try again over the weekend maybe , I am heading to the PhotoExpo tomorrow.

sometime I look at folks pitures and see the effort. I have gone back to the drawing board and see why I am not getting it right. Hey, thanks for the nice short. You say the sun was not right but I don't see any shadows. Apart from not having point of focus, I think they are great shots. Thanks.

the second one is the best attempt here.. but its still in need of a little more creative composition... the colors work together very well in this scene though..

try some from down low, using a pumpkin for foreground maybe.. try some different angles..
