ok so after saying I don't like frames, I did one myself! What do you think?

Nice, clean simple frame.

I don't like frames for pictures I intend to print (because they will be matted and/or framed anyway) but they are useful for web photos as they set some nice boundaries between the photo and the web page background. I don't usually like really ornate frames on posted photos, but sometimes some simply colored frames enhance the presentation of a photo on the web.

I guess that's one way to look at it - how we "present" the photo on the web can and will be different than how we "present" it in a print.

By the way, I really like the color of the yellow rose.

I like the flowers, but it bothers me that they have been cut off of the sides. I would like to have seen both of them in their entirety.

you've got such nice bright color there, i agree about the roses being cut off....there is no real focal point here, play with different angles. this is a little too straight on.

i agree.. its a little straight on, doesnt do justice to the form of the rose.. and the non-symmetrical crop is distracting as well.. either have both all in the frame or cut them off similarly maybe..
