I had my camera mounted on a low tripod, about two feet from the outside of the track, kind of dangerous thing to do, but I wanted to get that angle you see in the picture, this was taken back in 1989.

did you catch any with the train coming at you, like right before it got to you??

Hey Dustin, I think I might of I will have to look thru all my slides, if I find one I will scan it and post it. Where I was standing was illegal and everytime a train went by the cops were called, I had to hide up in the woods and when the cops left I would go back and wait for the next train to photograph.

now that is going the extra mile to take as shot.. i like the movement in this shot, but just keep wishing i could see the first car...
