I took this photo of my wife's 102 year old great aunt as she sat outside to think.

1/160s

f/5.6

270mm

Duotone in PS

Thanks in advance for your critiques and advise.

God bless her, and it's an amazing photo. It's almost as if she posed for it, I like the way her arm comes up over her head .

E.O.

This is an incredible picture... Do you have it without her finger cropped off ? ? ?

A little more on the left would not hurt the mood.

Thank you all for your kind replies. Dale, unfortunately when she sat down like this I saw a story in her eyes and honestly forgot about framing. I kick myself a thousand times for not seeing that. Once again thank you all for your comments.

I love that picture. Yah, you should have kicked yourself even harder for making the old lady fingerless:lol:. The problem of forgetting is universal. I do it always when a moment like that just appears. I guess the dynamics involvedreally come with experience.

Really nice capture. Could have used a little more DOF. The eyes are a bit soft as well.
