My second attempt at fireworks, they are so hard to capture. I need loads of practice

i preferred the first one as the patterns were more interesting.. the halos around these are not appealing, nor is the smoke..

The noise in this shot is very noticeable and the capture is decent but not over the top and I am not sure it can be done with the current digicam that you have. Did you try to shoot other than 2.8? Possible cause of the haloing in this shot.

Thanks vIZ, my other post was f3.2, maybe thats why its nice and clear, lots of experimenting with fireworks as they all have different characteristics, well, this one didn't work, I can't win them all....
