PS elements:

This is from a post on a different message board however I think it's a common action. There are a few ways of doing it but here's a simple one. Here's the flow:

Dup Layer, glaus blur 20 pxls, hue/sat w/colorize (hue45,sat25,light0), set layer to 'multiply' then flatten.

Dup layer, set to 'screen', flatten.

Dup layer, set to screen & '0' opacity then adjust to desired lightness.

I also adjust the levels and some sat in the process. It doesn'twork for all pics, but it helps out the boring ones. Thanks everyone for posting.

Thank you so much for posting that action!

I used it on some ho-hum close ups from a wedding, and they went from being not so good up to being some of the best of the group!
