Jaki,

We shouldn't confuse this with IR (Infrared) photography.

This is just a common UV (ultraviolet) (black light) used for lighting the scene and
a time exposure of a second or two.

Dale, I actually confused for infrared. Thanks for clarifying. How sweet of you. See that is why you make such a difference on this forum. Doubt it that even Steve can do without you. :-):-)

I was just looking at the numbers on the alarm clock they just seem to be glowing pretty cool... dont know if that has anything to do with the UV light or not... maybe if the thread owner looks at this again he could play with that? Maybe I am just sleepy or something...!!

They are glowing because they are LIGHT EMITTING DIODES.

Time exposure + light = GLOWS.
