i tried some lighting effects in PS on this one dunno if it added or detracted from the photo... maybe there was nothing there to detract from.

YOu've got some good ideas Mike.

Simple elegance combined with an air of mystery... I like it.

All your shots are above average as you have a good imagination and are very original. I like your photography. Spend a bit of time with that imagination and do some stuff that blows us away.

that part's not the hard part. the hard part is gettin the picture to pass the test of Dustin and his cronies, lol. just kidding, i'm trying though, i should really get out to shoot more but school is occupying much of my time now. thanks for the nice comments LBoy.

hey now... me and my cronies.. you make me out to be the neighborhood bully!! haha.. but i agree, i do like your imagination and your naturally good compositions.. the only reason i give you a hard time is because of your obvious talent..

anyways, i like this one.. think it would be even stronger in black and white maybe? and maybe feather the effects a little more, so a more gradual change..?

I'll just add that I like the idea. What story is going on behind that door? Very evocative idea.

I have to go the other way here. This one just does not do anything for me. Maybe black and white with a more feathered vignette.

Gives the feeling of apprehension before going through the door. I see the reflection in the doorknob of you. A bit of cloning there as well as the other suggestions maybe?

B&W would probably look cool, very hitchcockian. i like the color though, the cool blue hue adds to the apprehension of reaching for that door knob.* hey, you have us all talking about a door knob so i think you've succeeded in making it interesting .
