I mounted a sheet of silver mylar on mounting board and took the picture of the flowers reflected on to the mylar sheet.

Great effect and nice colours, although I think you could boost the saturation a bit. I also think it would help if the red flower were either sharper or had more of the ripple/mylar effect. Right now it feels more out of focus than anything.

i think it looks pretty cool really.. i would like to see more ripples throughout as well and maybe a little deeper colors..

Hello Julie,

When you decide to do this go to a good art store and ask for the silver mylar, I don't remember if it is 2 x 3, or 3 x 4 feet, and some 3M mounting adhesive.

You have to be careful when mounting this stuff, it scratches very easy,use some cotton gloves so you do not get any fingerprints on the mylar or they will not come off. When you take pictures you will need to shoot at an angle so you are not in the pics.

Let me know when you do this I would like to see some of your pics from this.
