I know there are a lot of techniques about this kind of photo. During a rainy day a tried to do something like that. I´m ready to learn. Critiques wlll be wellcome.

I'm no expert on still life but that is areally nicecompostion - like thereflection in the jug and the colours are great . There seems to be a hint of a shelf edge or fold in the foreground which might need editing out.

I like this as well.

My preference would be a touch more diffuse light on the subjects (elinminate that bright spot on the jug) and perhaps edit out the white specks or whatever scattered about.

Take all this with a grain of salt as still life is not my forte'

Good job.

this is not really my forte either..

but i think you needed a different colored jug, maybe something in a red tone to balance it.. the dark green gets lost in the background for me..

Coming from a strictly asthetic point of view because technicallyI am still learning..but I like the green jug.I like how it makes the orange stem pop and also really makes what I am assuming is garlic, stand out. I like how the jug accentuates the other objects in the photo .

i think this looks great, a nice still life attempt. i think the jug and the garlic are fabulous, the orange seems a little bit hot and there is a bit of detail loss there. i love the subtle reflection under the orange though. did you take other shots of this? i'd like to see this explored a bit more i think you are onto something. the jug color and detail are very pleasing and work well with the garlic...it's the orange that i feel is "odd" . overall, i like it!

I don't think the glass in this one is showing up as much as it should and I wonder how it would look with the whole reflection or a faded reflection. I would be interested in seeing a lighter colored background used as well. I think thats going to help with some of the items in the shot not showing up so well.

i actually prefer the second shot.. but i also think that you need to do something to make the glass standout a little better.. if you can make it stand out a little more i think you will have a good shot..

i like that one too, the grapes look great as well as the reflection...i agree about the glass, it just needs a little more "pop" to it .
