Haha, got you there.

Ashot of my Sisters new baby boy, 5 months old here. I know I am bias, so would like to know if this is worth framing as a gift.

very funny LB...

its very amusing with the tongue sticking WAY out.. which makes it adorable.. i am not sure that amusing is what you want to frame though.. it definately belongs inone of those babybook things.. but i really don't know though, as i am not a parent, so i have no idea what kinds of shots go on the wall.. but i usually think of shots like this going in the book and then the more normal cute shots going on the wall...

someone help me out here, as its apparent i have no idea...

it is a great capture though, i am not saying that.. and it is very cute and amusing..

Yes it is worth framing. Parents don't get tired of seeing their children, especially when it's a natural shot of a day to day moment where the child is clearly enjoying the people around him. It's the smile and the eyes that make it. Parents often don't have the time (or money) to get many pictures framed, so would appreciate it.Those that do have the time and money will be happy with one more. (A few ofourkids' portraits have been waiting 4 or 5 years for frames - keep forgetting them in a closet - the pictures I mean) .

On a practical note and father of 4 boys, I personally wouldn't do a very elaborate framing job as it will be superceded over the years.

definitely frame this and give it as a gift!* it's a great shot- you caught a wonderful, fun, adorable moment that reflects his personality....i think his parents will really appreciate it.

Yeah well looking at the view count I think your right...

Hards, I tend to agree with you. I think I will along with some other photos I have, make up an album to put it in. Let them frame which ones they want to themselves....

Thanks

Beautiful photograph. I agree that a frame would detract from the presentation.

It call for a family member into scrapbooking to make it a page

I think it's a nice picture for a small, perhaps ornate/artsy-craftsy kind of frame.

A big print would look odd I think.

I can claim some degree of expertise with this sort of thing as it's been the staple of my photography for the last 18 months.
