Hi Terry, this is from an abandon mental hospital that closed down I believe back in the early 90's but was built in the 30's I believe. Basically took the shot because I never seen wooden doors on a freezer before in a morgue.

Actually if you click this site, it tells you about the place and there are Pictures. And than click on the News/Main when your done to bring you back to the main page they list all these kinds of places from different states some in Mass which I want to try and go.

wow, and just 15 minutes from my house!* *very creepy... i think you are putting together a pretty good photo documentary here . it makes me a bit sad and scared to think about the people that lived and worked there.

That's exactly how I feel , it's not so much about wow a abandoned asylum that's how a lot of kids I guess see it and destroyed a lot inside and out. But to think of what it must have been like, and what went on there. If any of these patients are alive still and where they are etc... makes you think. There are patient files still scattered around and they are readable, we were reading some of them and it makes you think. I took some shots also of those.

works as part of the documentary for sure.. but on its own, the lighting is quite flat from the flash and its framed a bit too tightly.. but as part of your series it adds a creepy element..
