nice silhouetting and nice background.. i think maybe going with a full black and white conversion would look nice with this shot..

How do you get a good black and white from this one ?. I have seen three or four methods to make it, but I donĀ“t knowwhich is the best.

Thanks

i use the channel mixer in PS..

click on the monochrome box.. this will convert your image to black and white..

the default is 100% red which is somewhat like using a red filter on your lens with black and white film..

you can vary the amounts of the different channels until you get the black and white image that you like best.. but make sure all the channels add up to exactly 100% (i.e. 70% red and 30% green) or you will change the exposure...

Hiya,

I think this is a really cool shot and thanks Dustin for the tip on mono conversions... however, Luis I think you need a little practise with the cloning... I can see a pattern where the man was.
