Exif: 350D- ISO 1600- f5.0- 1/125 @ 38mm Kit Lens

the second one almost works.. i prefer it in mono.. i think it would work if you had enough dof to keep the face sharp and had loosened the crop enough to keep the other hand in the frame.. selective focus is a nice technique but i think here you would want to keep faith's face nice and sharp...
