thanks richard . Aumma- a lensbaby is a type of lens which is flexible so that you can move it around. the effect is that you have selective focus while blurring other parts of the image.* there is a website for lensbaby, if it's not lensbaby.com than try a search under lensbaby for more info.

You could, but it takes about 10 seconds to do it with a Lens Baby compared to maybe 10 minutes in Photoshop doing masks, layers, blends, etc etc.
