Nothing Syd, there were probably six other groups like this on the water surface and they rotate as a shoal(?)taking turns to breaksurface. The herons stand in the water and scoop the whole shoal(?) up in one fell swoop - thankfully -otherwise we'd have a plague of frogsthat wouldmakePharaoh's woes look like anon-event.

Got some frog spawn for the kids to watch the taddies grow and put it in a large aquarium. Then they started jumping out, so I built a pond in the garden. They keep comming back year after year. Keeps the dog & cat amused!

Don't get any fried food ideas Frenchy!!

Steve only problem is that unless you said what it is, it is difficult to know what it is, see what I mean.
