I have to admit Syd she makes a fine looking pasty but from Reading? You may be able to fool these out of country'ers... but not me! My dad lives in Cornwall and I have never found a better one than in Looe...

As far as the shot goes, a few little scabs in the background - some spots on teh wall, etc.. but it looks pretty good to me.

Dom, these were in Bude! Hey, you're in the UK too! I thought were were somewhere far away!

Not too keen on Scrumpy Steve. Besides, I lived in Hereford for years (Dad in Army) and there they have the best cider I think.

I traveled to England my Junior year in college. Took a few days to go down to Cornwall to visit my father's friends. I fell in love with the area, the food..such fond memories even if it was 27 years ago!

My daughter is leaving next week to spend a semester there, also her Junior year. Told her Cornwall is a 'Not-to-be-missed' trip.

Thanks for posting a picture which brings back fond memories for me.

vsch1, Cornwall and indeed the West Country are perhaps my favourite places here. I'll post some more shots just for you. Watch this space.
