I think this belongs more in the computer art section, as its kind of hard to critique the photo.

As a peice of art though, this would be cool to print out poster size for a gift or such for him. Looks neat. Make it his album cover.

Alex, this is good. I like experimenting with PS like this too. Photography or Art? It's an on going debate in many quarters with differing views. I personally think there is straight photography (which is art too) and there everything else besides. This World is big enough for all forms of art. And in todays world the possibilties seem endless.

I would be proud of producing something like this.

Alex, I really like this. I'd be interested to know how you did it.

Alex, I love the idea but I'm bothered by the dark spots on his face. Are they freckles? Acne? Whatever, I would try to lighten them up or eliminate them altogether. Otherwise, it's a cool idea.

I seem to be following Ladyhawk around tonight...

This is a very nice picture and it would make a great gift. BUT... You have to deal
with the black spots first. I've done this stuff for years. Make'm freckles if ya can
but I think the healing brush in PS would just get rid of them. Either way... They
gotta be handled. Just because the filter does certain things doesn't mean you're
stuck with them.

dale

PS: Nice look'n kid.
